The Extralink 1000 Mbps SFP RJ45 module is a high-quality and budget-friendly component that adheres to Gigabit Ethernet and 1000-BASE-T specifications set forth by IEEE 802.3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab standards. This SFP RJ45 adapter can handle data speeds of 1000 Mbps over distances of up to 100 meters using Category 5 Ethernet cables, enabling full-duplex data transmission with 5-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). Each of the four pairs in the cable operates at a rate of 250 Mbps per pair. Furthermore, the Extralink SFP RJ45 offers standard SFP MSA-compliant serial ID data, retrievable via a 2-wire CMOS EEPROM serial protocol at the A0h address. The physical integrated circuit can similarly be accessed through a 2-wire serial bus at the A0h address.
