Routers made by the MikroTik company are ideal for small office and home use (SOHO) as well as for more complex networks and structures. They meet basic customer’s requirements such as supporting WiFi standards B/G/N, the capability of transfer and throughput control (together with blocking P2P protocols). The wide variety of products allows adjustment to the needs of specific solutions.
Routers are managed by original RouterOS operating system which can be managed in several different ways, including access to them through the CLI, telnet/ssh, WinBox software and a web browser (WebFig system). All console actions can be mapped to other management systems and vice versa.
The routers are distinguished by their high and fast performance. The most popular models include the RouterBOARD 750 series (UP, GL) and RouterBOARD 2011 models (iL-IN, iL-RM, iLS-IN, UiAS-IN, UiAS -RM).
